About Edamame Adventures

Traveling is one of the most amazing, inspiration things a person can do in their life. Seeing other people in other cultures opens your mind to different ways of life. As Mark Twain once said, “TravelĀ is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness….” I know that not everyone can travel. Some people don’t have the time, others don’t have the money, and more often than not, they don’t have either.

It’s my dream as a writer to paint a picture wherever I go so that people all over the world can take this journey alongside me – no matter their walk in life. I want to show you the real world. I want you to see the nitty gritty and the dirty and the unsavory aspects of everyday life. People need to know what life in other countries is like – from beggars on the streets to businessmen (and women) living in high-rise penthouses.

Join me on this incredible journey – hike through jagged mountains, make life-long friends, brace shrill winter winds, experience the beauty and peace of ancient cities, sink into mud and grime, taste cuisine more delicious than anything you could’ve imagined, catch a stomach virus from undercooked food, and fall asleep with me under the stars. Don’t just see the world through my eyes – live it beside me.

If you would like to help support me in this journey, head over to my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/edamameadventures) and check out my page. I have several rewards to offer anyone who pledges their support.

I also offer professional freelance writing services including copywriting, blogging, content creation, etc. If you would like to see my professional resume, go add me on Linkedin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/leah-mcewen-b5500b153/). I would love to see you there!

Thanks for Reading!

P.S. In case you were wondering, the name, Edamame Adventures came about after I took a little stuffed cartoon edamame to China with me and stuck it in all of my pictures for my old (RIP) blog. I don’t take the bean with me much anymore, but the name just stuck!
